defining character through Astrology

Recruitment Service

How can you really get to know what the person who has applied to you for work is really like? You can try to read between the lines of their CV, assess their answers to interview questions or watch their body language. You might choose to invest in graphology or psychometric testing. However, there is a myriad of books and websites claiming to teach people how to answer difficult interview questions or pass psychometric tests. Astrology is different because it is totally objective. Candidates can embroider their pasts, rehearse answers to questions, change their handwriting, even learn to control their body language, but they cannot alter their birth details.

Whilst astrology should never be used as the sole criteria for picking staff, it offers valuable support to the selection process and can help in preventing the expenses associated with mis-hires. How does it do this?

  • it provides an independent profile of the candidate's character which is not affected by visual stimuli or assumptions made after reading the job application or listening to their responses

  • it relates the personality profile to the requirements of the job showing the strengths and weaknesses which that person would bring to the organisation

  • it explores the factors that motivate someone which is key to staff retention and good morale

In order to get the best out of this service, it is necessary to supply the candidate's date, place and time of birth together with a copy of the job description. Birth details can only be obtained from the candidate and it is important that the candidate is asked if they are willing for you to use an astrological profiling service and that you obtain their written consent. An example of the sort of report which you might receive is available below.

All profiles are prepared in line with the Faculty of Astrological Studies Code of Ethics. If you wish to share the profile with the candidate afterwards, this needs to be stated at the outset since this affects the layout of the report. It would clearly be inappropriate for one candidate to be able to see the profile of a rival candidate.

Costs are £25 per candidate.

Sarah Andrews has been a professional astrologer and HR manager for almost twenty years. She uses her interest in history to specialise in ancestral astrology. Her book on the characters of Britain's Kings and Queens since Tudor times is due to be published next year.

"Astrology is a science in itself and contains an illuminating body of knowledge. It taught me many things and I am greatly indebted to it."

Albert Einstein

"We are born at a given moment, in a given place, and like vintage years of wine, we have qualities of the year and the season in which we are born. ...The fact that it is possible to construct, in adequate fashion, a person's character from the data of his nativity, shows the validity of astrology."

Carl Jung

"The correlation between star signs and human behaviour has a statistical proof. In all our studies a link between star signs and human behaviour was proved in accordance with the law of statistics."

Rita Künstler

"The astrologer has as a starting point the absolutely objective primary information provided by the horoscope; information unavailable from any other source and this is independent of any self portrait or history the client might furnish."

John Anthony West

"The behaviour of the foetus at the time of birth is linked to the cycles within the geomagnetic field, which in turn are influenced by the solar cycle and positions of the planets. Resonance is the phenomenon by which the foetus is phase locked to specific cycles."

Percy Seymour
